The Roseburg VA is following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to pause in providing the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine at this time.

A release said that pause is due to concern about possible rare side effects.

Roseburg VA locations are still offering the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, in which similar events have not been noted.

Those who have previously been scheduled for the Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be rescheduled to receive the Moderna vaccine. To schedule an appointment to be vaccinated, call 440-1000.
