COVID-19 has claimed 1 more life, raising the state’s death toll to 2,440, as of Friday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 560 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 169,338. The new cases include:
*97 in Multnomah County
*83 in Washington County
*51 each in Clackamas and Deschutes counties
*47 in Lane County
*33 in Marion County
*27 in Jackson County
*25 in Klamath County
*24 in Grant County
*18 in Josephine County
*17 in Linn County
*11 in Polk County
*10 in Umatilla County
*9 in Lincoln County
*8 in Douglas County
*7 each in Columbia and Curry counties
*6 each in Clatsop and Jefferson counties
*3 each in Baker, Benton, Tillamook, Union and Yamhill counties
*2 each in Lake and Malheur counties
*1 each in Harney, Hood River, Wallowa and Wasco counties
OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 158, which is 10 fewer than on Thursday. There are 39 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 1 more than on Thursday.
OHA reported that 53,121 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 33,410 doses were administered on Thursday. 19,711 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Thursday.
