Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged trespassing incident on Thursday.
An RPD report said at 5:00 p.m. officers responded to a business in the 1100 block of Northeast Stephens regarding a man who refused to leave. The report said the 33-year old was harassing employees and customers. The man was told by an officer to leave multiple times, but refused. After being told to place his hands behind his back, he allegedly said no.
The report said the man became aggressive towards an officer and made threatening statements. The suspect refused to comply when a taser was pointed at him. It was deployed when the man stepped toward an officer in an aggressive manner. The suspect was able to rip one probe out of his chest once he hit the ground. A second taser was effective and an officer was able to cuff the man.
