A 55-year old man was jailed following an alleged assault on Saturday.
A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said at about 11:50 p.m. a deputy responded to a 911 hang up in the 600 block of Tenmile Valley Road. A victim said she had been assaulted and had injuries corroborating her story. The suspect admitted to having been in a disturbance with the victim the previous day.
He was charged with fourth-degree assault and strangulation. After arraignment, bail was set at $10,000.
