NEIGHBORWORKS UMPQUA ANNOUNCES NEW CFO

NeighborWorks Umpqua has announced that Rebecca Heinricy has been named as the organization’s new chief financial officer.

A release said Heinricy is the former financial officer for Fresno Economic Opportunities Commission. It’s a nonprofit community action agency in California, with over 1,200 employees. Heinricy served as a financial officer and has a number of years of experience and expertise in finance and accounting practices, according to the release.

Heinricy started at Fresco EOC in 2002 as a senior accountant. Prior experience included three years at BDO Sieman, LLP where she was an audit associate.

John Fowler, interim chief executive officer for NeighborWorks said, “We are excited and fortunate to have gotten someone of Rebecca’s caliber to join NWU”.

Heinricy said, “I am looking forward to the opportunity to bring new leadership, vision and integrity within an organization that has a positive impact on the future”.

The release said Heinricy will begin her position remotely on April 5th and then relocate to Oregon with her family in June at the end of the school year.
