MAN JAILED IN REPORTED DISORDERLY CONDUCT INCIDENT

A Roseburg man was jailed following an alleged disorderly conduct incident on Saturday.

Information from Roseburg Police said at 5:30 a.m. the 34-year old was contacted by medical who requested law enforcement because of the suspect’s violent behavior in the 1500 block of Southeast Stephens. The man ultimately refused medical attention. When an officer started to leave the scene, the suspect reportedly chased after their patrol car telling the officer that he was going to kill them. The man then reportedly stood in the middle of the roadway, blocking traffic.

The suspect was charged with second degree disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $2,500.
