Umpqua Velo Club is organizing its cycling season.

Organizer Dick Dolgonas said the club will have its first monthly general meeting on Tuesday April 7th at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom.

Those interesting in cycling can attend to discuss and suggest road rides, gravel rides, mountain bike rides, out of the area rides and more. The September 5th Vineyard Tour will be talked about as well.

Dolgonas said to encourage residents to ride, an easy ride will start on Tuesday April 6th, weather permitting. Those Tuesday rides will begin at the Stewart Park train, in Roseburg.

Regular Wednesday “leave no rider behind” intermediate rides will start Wednesday evening April 7th at 7:00 p.m., leaving from the parking lot at My Coffee at the corner of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard and Northwest Kline Street.
