Roseburg Police jailed a man after he was riding an allegedly stolen bicycle on Thursday.

Information from RPD said at 12:00 p.m. officers responded to the 500 block of Umpqua Street and made contact with the suspect. 22-year old Crawford Chandler reportedly refused to return the bike or follow simple commands. Crawford allegedly attempted to resist being taken into custody.

He was charged with third degree theft, interfering with a peace officer and for resisting arrest. Bail was set at $13.750.
