1 MORE DEATH, 14 NEW POSITIVE TEST RESULTS FOR COVID-19, IN COUNTY

1 more person has died of COVID-19 in Douglas County, and 14 more people have received new positive test results, as of Thursday.

County Public Health Officer Dr. Bob Dannenhoffer said the 59th death was a 76-year old man who was diagnosed with COVID-19 on March 4th and passed away on Wednesday.

An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the total number of cases is now at 2,826. Of those, 2,689 are people that have received positive test results and 137 are presumptive. 9 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 6 locally and 3 outside the area. 112 people are in isolation, 216 people are in quarantine. That means the staff with DPHN is supporting 328 people that are either in isolation or quarantine. That is a drop of 15 people since Wednesday.

The next drive through testing clinic with DPHN will be Friday in Roseburg.
