The Roseburg VA Health Care System has updated vaccine eligibility for veterans.

A release said VA employees are working hard to distribute the COVID-19 vaccine to all current eligible and enrolled veterans. The Moderna 2-dose series is presently being offered.

Those who are eligible should call 440-1000 and let their Patient Aligned Care Team know of their interest. Veterans can also go to: https://www.va.gov/health-care/covid-19-vaccine and complete the online enrolled Veteran Vaccine Interest form, and someone will call to get them scheduled.

Those currently eligible include:

*Veterans over age 65

All of the following regardless of age: Enrolled veterans with high-risk medical conditions, all essential workers, health care personnel, homeless veterans, those receiving chemotherapy, organ transplant recipient or candidate, and primary and secondary veteran caregivers enrolled in the Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers.

Weekly clinics are being held at the Roseburg VA Medical Center, the Eugene VA Health Care Center, and at VA clinics in North Bend and Brookings.
