A fugitive was jailed after a traffic stop on Tuesday.

A report from Roseburg Police said at 12:30 p.m. an officer stopped the 33-year old Roseburg man in the 1800 block of Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard. He had a Department of Justice warrant for failure to appear on a contempt of court charge. He was also cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured.

The man was released from custody later in the day.
