A Drain man was taken to the hospital after a single vehicle rollover crash on Saturday.

A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said at 7:00 p.m. a deputy responded to the 7600 block of Eagle Valley Road. Medical personnel already had the victim loaded on a stretcher and at that point he was not responsive.

Witnesses said they contacted the man outside the vehicle. He had apparently not been ejected, but appeared to have made his way out of the vehicle on his own. He was conscious then and able to communicate. A witness said he walked the man to the roadway and the victim began to complain of major body pain and head trauma.

The man was taken to CHI Mercy Medical Center where he was in critical condition. He was life flighted to another medical facility. The report said the crash is under investigation.
