MICROENTERPRISE ASSISTANCE GRANT PROGRAM AVAILABLE

The Microenterprise Assistance Grant Program from CCD Business Development brings free continuing education to local business owners or aspiring entrepreneurs.

A release said the program is for low to moderate income individuals who are seeking business resources or individuals who are interested in starting a business. The program pays for up to $2,500 per person for approved courses through Small Business Development Centers across the state, in addition to several classes being offered by CCD Business Development Corporation. The program is made possible by the City of Roseburg through Business Oregon’s Community Development Block Grant.

The release said CCD will pay up front. up to $2,500 per person, for desired courses from an approved course list. People can take more than one course up to the maximum amount.
