The Roseburg Lions Club will begin selling See’s Candy for Easter, soon.
Lisa Hawley from the club said 100 percent of the profits from the candy sales will be donated to the Roseburg Elks Club for their scholarship fund.
Sales will begin next Friday March 19th, continuing until April 3rd, or until the candy sells out. The Lion’s bright yellow trailer will be at in the northwest corner of Sherm’s Thunderbird parking lot off Northwest Stewart Parkway. Hours will be daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Hawley said COVID-19 guidelines will be followed to ensure a safe but friendly candy-buying experience.
As part of this year’s candy sales, the Lions Club, in in collaboration with the American Red Cross and the local Scottish Rite of Freemasons, is hosting a blood drive. It will be on Friday March 26th from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. near the Lions candy trailer. Pre-register by going to www.redcrossblood.org or by calling 643-6494.
