1 MORE DEATH, 16 MORE PEOPLE WITH NEW POSITIVE TEST RESULTS, 1 NEW PRESUMPTIVE CASE

1 more person has died from COVID-19 in Douglas County, 16 more people have received new positive test results, and there is 1 new presumptive case, as of Wednesday.

County Public Health Officer Dr. Bob Dannenhoffer said the 57th death was a 62-year old man who was diagnosed with COVID-19 on March 2nd and passed away on Tuesday.

An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the total number of cases is now at 2,666. Of those, 2,536 are people that have received new positive test results, and 130 are presumptive. 11 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 6 locally and 5 outside the area. 180 people are in isolation. 386 people are in quarantine. That means the staff with the Douglas Public Health Network are supporting 566 people that are either in isolation or quarantine.

The next drive through testing clinic with DPHN is Friday in Roseburg.
