21 more people have received new positive test results for COVID-19 in Douglas County, as Monday marks the one-year anniversary of the first positive case of the virus in the county.
An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the total number of cases is now at 2,636. Of those, 2,507 are people that have received new positive test results and 129 are presumptive. There have been 56 deaths. 13 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 9 locally and 4 outside the area. 205 people are in isolation. 442 people are in quarantine. That means the staff with the Douglas Public Health Network are supporting 647 people that are either in isolation or quarantine. That is a decrease of 98 people since Sunday.
