Roseburg Police cited a man for second-degree child neglect on Sunday.

The report said officers contacted the man after he allegedly left a six-year old and a four-year old inside his vehicle, while he was shopping at a business in the 3000 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway. The report said the man told officers he felt if he was very quick, he would be okay.

The 42-year old was released after the citation was issued.
