A Roseburg woman was jailed following an alleged menacing incident on Thursday.

A Roseburg Police report said at about 5:50 p.m. the 52-year old allegedly threatened a man with a splitting maul after she accused him of stealing her money. The report said the woman’s action placed the victim in fear for his safety. After a brief struggle, the woman was taken into custody.

Charges included menacing and resisting arrest. Bail was set at $15,000.
