ROSEBURG REACHES 67 DEGREES, NOT A RECORD

The mercury reached 67 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport on Tuesday.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said that was not a record. Roseburg’s record high for the date was 71 degrees, set in 1931. Roseburg was one of the warmest places in Oregon on Tuesday. Medford also hit 67 degrees. Bend and some areas around Pendleton also saw warm sunny conditions.

Afternoon temperatures should remain in the mid-60s for the next couple of days. Rain and cooler temperatures are forecast for the Umpqua Valley, beginning on Friday.
