A Roseburg man was cited, accused of writing “gibberish” on Thursday.

Information from Roseburg Police said at about 4:20 p.m. the 27-year old was contacted in the 700 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. The report said he used an ink pen to write on the stairwell behind the Garden Valley Shopping Center.

The suspect was cited for second-degree criminal mischief and then released.
