Major injuries were reported when a vehicle hit a rock embankment along Interstate Five Friday morning.
A report from Oregon State Police said at about 10:20 a.m. a vehicle was headed southbound about a mile south of Canyonville. It hydroplaned on the wet road and left the roadway before striking the embankment. A 55-year old male driver and a 39-year old female passenger were in the vehicle. Specifics on who was injured was not in the report. The vehicle sustained major damage and had to be towed from the scene.
