A 20-year old man was hurt in a single vehicle accident Thursday night in south Douglas County.

A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said just after 7:00 p.m. the man reported he and a woman had been in a crash on the 1,700 block of Gazley Road. The man was transported in a private vehicle to seek medical attention.

The report said the woman apparently lost control of the sedan and hit her head in the accident. She refused medical attention and the deputy did not detect any signs of impairment. The vehicle damaged a fence and the property owner was notified.
