No one was hurt in a two-vehicle wreck Wednesday afternoon, along Highway 138E, about five miles east of Glide.
A report from Oregon State Police said it occurred at about 12:20 p.m. The suspect allegedly refused to provide information to the other driver and attempted to leave the scene as troopers responded. The report said the 50-year old woman entered a nearby residence twice after being told to leave by the homeowner. The suspect showed signs of extreme alcohol intoxication, according to the report, became uncooperative, and tried to walk away from the troopers while detained on the scene.
After being arrested, the woman reportedly resisted and was finally taken into custody without injury. The suspect was taken to CHI Mercy Medical Center where she was placed on a police-hold due to statements she was said to be making.
The report said the woman eventually consented to a blood draw and was given citations for reckless driving, DUII, failure to perform the duties of a driver, second degree criminal trespassing and for resisting arrest. She was released into the care of a friend.
Both vehicles could be driven from the scene.
