COVID-19 has claimed 4 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 2,023, as of Sunday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 393 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 147,122. The new cases include:
*63 in Multnomah County
*51 in Washington County
*41 in Marion County
*30 in Deschutes County
*28 each in Clackamas and Lane counties
*23 in Jackson County
*16 each in Polk and Yamhill counties
*13 in Umatilla County
*11 in Coos County
*10 in Douglas County
*9 in Curry County
*8 each in Benton and Linn counties
*6 each in Jefferson and Josephine counties
*5 in Crook County
*4 in Lincoln County
*3 each in Columbia, Morrow and Wasco counties
*2 each in Harney and Lake counties
*1 each in Baker, Hood River, Malheur and Union counties
The new deaths ranged in age from 78 to 93. 2 lived in Marion County. 1 each lived in Jackson and Multnomah counties.
OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 230, which 2 more than on Saturday. There are 53 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 1 more than Saturday.
OHA reported that 21,694 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 17,940 doses were administered on Saturday. 3,754 doses were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Saturday.
Oregon has now administered 554,145 first and second doses of COVID-19 vaccines. To date, 734,950 doses of vaccine have been delivered to sites across Oregon.
