COVID-19 CASE AT GREEN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Roseburg Public Schools has been notified by the Douglas Public Health Network that an adult at Green Elementary School has tested positive for COVID-19.

Superintendent Jared Cordon said the district is working closely with DPHN to respond to the news and protect the health of the school community.

After implementing contact tracing, DPHN has determined that one classroom will need to quarantine for 10 days. Those impacted have been contacted and are at home self-isolating and monitoring for symptoms. Students who are in quarantine will temporarily transition to remote learning. School staff will provide families with technology devices.
