COVID-19 has claimed 1 more life, raising the state’s death toll to 1,958, as of Monday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 964 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 143,373. The new cases include:

*105 in Lane County
*92 in Clackamas County
*44 in Jackson County
*36 in Josephine County
*32 in Polk County
*31 in Deschutes County
*30 in Linn County
*28 in Yamhill County
*19 in Coos County
*18 in Benton County
*17 in Umatilla County
*14 in Douglas County
*9 in Wasco County
*8 in Union County
*7 in Hood River County
*4 each in Klamath and Morrow counties
*3 each in Crook, Curry, Jefferson and Lincoln counties
*2 each in Lake and Malheur counties
*1 each in Grant, Harney, and Tillamook counties
OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 271, which is 5 fewer than on Sunday. There are 64 COVID-19 patients in intensive care united beds, which is 1 fewer than on Sunday.
OHA reported that 14,693 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 10,208 doses were administered on Sunday. 4,485 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Sunday.
Oregon has now administered a cumulative total of 438,299 first and second doses of COVID-19 vaccines. To date, 665,325 doses of vaccine have been delivered to sites across Oregon.
