A Roseburg man was hospitalized following a single vehicle wreck on Friday.

A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said at about 2:15 p.m. a pickup being driven by a 54-year old left the roadway for an unknown reason near Old Melrose Road and Leeward Lane. The vehicle went through brush and trees before stopping just short of the river.

The man was taken to CHI Mercy Medical Center before being transferred to PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at Riverbend in Springfield where he was listed in fair condition by a hospital spokesperson.
