A Roseburg man was cited for first degree criminal mischief by Roseburg Police on Thursday.

An RPD report said at about 2:20 p.m. officers responded to the report of a large camp being dug into the side of Reservoir Hill in the 700 block of Bellview. Officers contacted a 51-year old man who had dug out a large 10 feet deep bunker style shelter into the side of Reservoir Hill. That location was approximately 50 yards below the water reservoir.

The suspect was released after being cited.
