MAN JAILED FOR UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A MOTOR VEHICLE

A Roseburg man was jailed for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle on Sunday.

Reports from Winston Police and Roseburg Police said at about 3:30 p.m. WPD officers responded to a residence in the 100 block of Suksdorf for a man that was possibly trespassing and acting disorderly. WPD learned that RPD had probable cause to arrest 33-year old Johnnie Kreps for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, for an incident that allegedly occurred on Saturday.

Kreps reportedly wanted to fight with officers. A taser was deployed and the man was taken into custody.

A charge of second-degree theft was added. Bail was set at $56,250.
