TWO HURT IN TWO-VEHICLE WRECK

Two people were hurt in a two-vehicle wreck in Roseburg on Thursday morning.

Information from Roseburg Police said just before 7:00 a.m. a 36-year woman was traveling southbound on Northeast Stephens. She was attempting to turn onto Diamond Lake Boulevard with a flashing yellow light. A 32-year old man was headed northbound on Stephens with a green light.

The report said the woman tried to make the turn without yielding to the northbound vehicle, causing the collision, which resulted in heavy front-end damage. Both drivers were taken to CHI Mercy Medical Center via ambulance for treatment of minor injuries. They were treated and released, according to a hospital spokesperson.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
