Standing water led to a freeway wreck on Tuesday.

A report from Oregon State Police said just after 7:45 a.m. a woman was driving southbound on Interstate Five, about two miles south of Sutherlin when the car hydroplaned. The report said the vehicle hit the center concrete divider then traveled across the roadway and down a steep embankment, before it finally stopped.

The driver left the scene in another vehicle. The woman indicated that she was going to be late for work, so did not make a report when the accident took place.

No injuries were reported. The vehicle was later towed from the scene.
