Two people were cited for child neglect in separate incidents by Roseburg Police on Saturday.

An RPD report said just before 7:30 a.m. a 26-year old woman from Sheldon, Washington allegedly left her infant child and a toddler unattended in her vehicle in the parking lot at Fred Meyer on Garden Valley Boulevard.

At 4:00 p.m. a 39-year old Oakland woman reportedly left her young child unattended in the back seat of her car while it was parked at Walmart on Stewart Parkway.

Both were cited for second degree child neglect, and were then released.
