COVID-19 has claimed 7 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 1,575, as of Friday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 1,755 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 122,847. The new cases include:

*253 in Washington County
*203 in Clackamas County
*179 in Marion County
*115 in Klamath County
*105 in Lane County
*92 in Deschutes County
*83 in Jackson County
*60 in Josephine County
*47 in Yamhill County
*44 in Umatilla County
*43 in Benton County
*42 each in Linn and Polk counties
*27 in Douglas County
*24 in Malheur County
*20 each in Hood River and Union counties
*18 each in Coos and Wasco counties
*12 each in Columba and Morrow counties
*8 in Clatsop County
*5 in Tillamook County
*4 each in Curry and Sherman counties
*3 each in Baker, Crook, Jefferson and Gilliam counties
*1 in Harney County
The new deaths ranged in age from 50 to 91. 2 lived in Jackson County. 1 each lived in Clackamas, Marion, Umatilla, Washington and Lane counties.
OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 451, which is 11 fewer than on Thursday. There are 88 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 3 fewer than on Thursday.
On Friday, OHA recorded 7,994 doses of vaccine administered – including 578 second doses – raising the state’s total number of doses administered to 74,914. That figure is based on preliminary reports of 5,706 doses administered on Thursday, as well as 2,288 doses administered on prior days that had not been recorded.
