Roseburg Police cited a man for third degree theft on Thursday.

An RPD report said at 8:00 a.m. a victim left their wallet clip at the register of a store in the 2100 block of Stewart Parkway. A few seconds later the suspect walked to the register and allegedly grabbed the money clip and took it to their vehicle. The report said the 47-year old allegedly stole the cash out of the clip then walked back into the store and threw the wallet in an aisle.

He was released after being cited.
