1 MORE DEATH, 12 NEW POSITIVE TEST RESULTS FOR COVID-19 IN COUNTY

1 more person has died of COVID-19 in Douglas County, and 12 more people have new positive test results, as of Wednesday.

County Public Health Officer Dr. Bob Dannenhoffer said the 42nd death is a 60-year old man who was diagnosed with COVID-19 on Wednesday November 11th and passed away on January 3rd.

An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the total number of cases is now at 1,486. Of those, 1,404 are people that have received positive test results and 82 are presumptive. 3 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are being hospitalized, 2 locally and 1 outside the area. 138 people are in isolation. 160 people are in quarantine. That means the staff with the Douglas Public Health Network is supporting 298 people that are either in isolation or quarantine.

The next drive through testing clinic with DPHN is Friday in Roseburg.
