A Wind Advisory is in effect from 4:00 p.m. Saturday through 6:00 a.m. on Sunday for parts of Douglas County and surrounding areas.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford said south winds from 20 to 30 miles per hour with gusts up to 45 miles per hour are predicted.
The Advisory area includes southern Douglas County, Josephine County and eastern Curry County including Glendale and the Sexton pass on Interstate Five.
Forecasters said gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
Drivers should use extra caution, especially if driving high profile vehicles
