A 67-year old man was found deceased in a tent near the Stewart Park Duck Pond on Monday.

Sergeant Jeff Eichenbusch of the Roseburg Police told News Radio 1240 KQEN that it was an unattended death, but there was nothing suspicious regarding the situation. The tent was south of the Adventist Church.

Eichenbusch said the man was well known to local law enforcement and had lived a transient lifestyle for a number of years. At last check, the Medical Examiner was working on locating the next of kin. The cause of death has not been released.  The man was found deceased at about 11:15 a.m.
