Covering coastal Douglas County:

The Reedsport City Council will meet on Monday night.

The first meeting of the new year will be held via Zoom.

Three councilors will take the oath of office. Councilors will consider adopting new rates for the collection and disposition of solid waste. They will vote on whether to authorize a supplemental budget and budget revisions for the current fiscal year. They will also decide whether to have new audio and video equipment installed in the council chambers. Other items are on the agenda as well.

The evening begins with a work session at 6:00 p.m. An Urban Renewal meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. followed by the regular council meeting.
