While Douglas County government offices will be open on New Year’s Eve Day, lighter staff levels are expected.

Information from the Board of Commissioners said some departments will have limited hours as well. Residents should call ahead to see if staff will be able to assist them, if they come to the courthouse. A link to department phone numbers is listed at: www.do.douglas.or.us.

County offices will be closed on Friday for New Year’s Day.
