A Roseburg man was jailed after an alleged strangulation incident on Sunday.
Information from Roseburg Police said at about 7:30 p.m. during an alleged argument, 42-year old Tyler Schexnider allegedly grabbed a female victim and held her down by her throat, impeding her ability to breathe, in the 600 block of West Umpqua.
The suspect was held for a felony count of strangulation and for 4th degree assault. Bail was set at $56,250.
