A passenger was hospitalized following a wreck on Highway 230 between Crater Lake and Diamond Lake, on Sunday afternoon.

A report from Oregon State Police said just before 1:30 p.m. a vehicle was eastbound when the driver, a 35-year old man, lost control due to icy conditions. The vehicle left the roadway and struck the embankment, rolling onto its side. One passenger sustained broken bones and was transported by Life Flight to an area hospital. The vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
