In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

The Douglas County Cultural Coalition is accepting grant applications from area arts and cultural organizations.

A release said grants will be up to $1,000 with a limited number of awards given to visual artists, musicians and writers. The application deadline is January 31st. To request an application, email: info@dcccoalition.org

The DCCC is funded by the Oregon Cultural Trust. Individuals and businesses support the organization and receive a tax credit for their gift. For more information about the non-profit, go to www.culturaltrust.org.
