1 MORE COVID-19 DEATH, 27 NEW POSITIVE TEST RESULTS IN DOUGLAS COUNTY

1 more person has died of COVID-19 in Douglas County, and 27 more people have received new positive test results, as of Monday.

County Public Health Officer Dr. Bob Dannenhoffer said the 37th COVID-19 death was a 90-year old woman who was diagnosed with COVID on November 21st and passed away on Friday.

An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the total number of cases is now at 1,311. Of those, 1,234 are people that have received new positive test results, and 77 are presumptive. 9 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 7 locally and 2 outside the area. 158 people are in isolation. 579 people are in quarantine. That means the staff with the Douglas Public Health Network are supporting 733 people that are either in isolation or quarantine.

The next drive through testing clinic is Tuesday in Roseburg.
