COVID-19 has claimed 36 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 1,340, as of Saturday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 1,542 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 101,814. The new cases include:

*172 in Lane County
*161 in Marion County
*148 in Washington County
*109 in Clackamas County
*75 in Jackson County
*63 in Deschutes County
*52 in Klamath County
*48 each in Malheur and Umatilla counties
*43 in Yamhill County
*35 in Linn County
*34 in Polk County
*26 in Jefferson County
*24 each in Douglas and Hood River counties
*23 in Benton County
*19 in Josephine County
*18 in Wasco County
*16 in Coos County
*14 in Tillamook County
*12 in Columbia County
*10 in Crook County
*9 in Baker County
*8 in Union County
*7 each in Curry and Morrow counties
*5 in Clatsop County
*2 each in Gilliam and Lincoln counties
*1 each in Harney and Lake counties
The new deaths ranged in age from 42 to 101.
OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 536, 3 fewer than on Thursday. There are 104 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, 7 fewer than on Thursday.
