On Saturday, the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said that this week the county had its lowest number of cases of COVID-19, with 101 reported, since the week ending November 7th, when there were 78 new cases.

22 more people have received new positive test results for COVID-19, as of Saturday. The total number of cases is now at 1,280. Of those, 1.203 are people that have received positive test results and 77 are presumptive. There have been 36 deaths. 10 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are being hospitalized, 9 locally and 1 outside the area. 164 people are in isolation and 593 people are in quarantine. That means the staff with the Douglas Public Health Network are supporting 757 people that are either in isolation or quarantine.
The next drive through testing clinic with DPHN will be Tuesday in Roseburg. Clinics will only be held on Tuesdays the next two weeks as Christmas and New Year’s Day both fall on Fridays.
