Deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office jailed a man on methamphetamine charges on Wednesday.

A report said a deputy stopped a vehicle in the 1100 block of Pruner Road in Riddle at about 11:30 a.m. The report said drug items were in plain view. A delivery amount of meth, plus baggies and scales were also located.

43-year old Johnny Boomgaarn was charged with unlawful possession and delivery of meth, for a misdemeanor count of driving while suspended and for a warrant. Bail was set at $612,500.
