Staff with the City of Roseburg will host a virtual Oath of Office ceremony on Monday, January 4th.

Those set to be sworn in include Mayor Larry Rich, councilors Andrea Zielinski, Sheila Cox and Brian Prawitz and newly elected councilors Sheri Moothart and Patrice Sipos.

The event will be held at 3:00 p.m.in the Public Safety Center. Due to state guidelines in regard to COVID-19, public access will be limited to City staff and Council members only. The public can watch the ceremony on the City’s Facebook page.

During the ceremony, the mayor and each councilor will take their Oath of Office separately in front of City Recorder Amy Sowa. Each person will be given ten minutes to take the oath and sign documents before exiting the room. Masks and social distancing measures will be required.
