FINAL ROSEBURG CITY COUNCIL MEETING FOR 2020 IS MONDAY NIGHT

December 14, 2020 3:55 a.m.

The Roseburg City Council will have its final meeting for 2020 on Monday, and it has a busy agenda.

It will be the last meeting as councilors for Ashley Hicks and Linda Fisher-Fowler. Hicks lost in her bid for a second term, while Fisher-Fowler opted not to run again. Both will be given special recognition at the conclusion of the meeting.

The agenda includes three public hearings, two of which relate to severe event shelters. The other is for amending a portion of the City’s zoning map. Resolutions involving an appropriation transfer and a Complete Streets policy will be considered. Ordinances that establish a homeless commission and make changes to some offenses in Roseburg Municipal Code will get second reading.

The meeting will be held via Zoom. Public comment on agenda items will be taken via e-mail until 4:00 p.m. Monday at: info@cityofroseburg.org and will be read during the meeting. The public can watch the meeting at: www.cityofroseburg.org, on the City’s Facebook page, or on Charter Cable channel 191.

The meeting begins at 7:00 p.m.
