COVID-19 CLAIMS 13 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 1,123 AS OF THURSDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 13 more lives, raising the state death toll to 1,123 as of Thursday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 1,586 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state case total to 89,838. The new cases include:

*400 in Multnomah County

*247 in Washington County

*153 in Marion County

*117 in Lane County

*101 in Clackamas County

*60 in Jackson County

*58 in Linn County

*52 in Jefferson County

*47 in Deschutes County

*38 in Klamath County

*35 in Yamhill County

*31 in Umatilla County

*30 each in Benton and Polk counties

*26 each in Columbia and Malheur counties

*20 in Douglas County

*14 each in Josephine and Morrow counties

*13 in Clatsop County

*12 in Wasco County

*11 in Baker County

*10 each in Coos and Hood River counties

*7 each in Lincoln and Tillamook counties

*6 in Crook County

*2 each in Curry, Harney Lake and Union counties

*1 each in Grant, Sherman and Wallowa counties

The new deaths ranged in age from 64 to 97. 3 lived in Lane County. 2 each lived in Douglas and Marion Counties. 1 each lived in Clackamas, Deschutes, Jackson, Josephine, and Union counties.

OHA said the number of hospitalized COVID-19 patients across Oregon is 576, 4 fewer than on Wednesday. There are 127 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, 5 fewer than on Wednesday.
