1 MORE DEATH, 21 NEW POSITIVE TEST RESULTS, 1 NEW PRESUMPTIVE CASE

1 more person has died from COVID-19 in Douglas County, 21 more people have received new positive test results, and there is 1 new presumptive case, as of Thursday.

County Public Health Officer Dr. Bob Dannenhoffer said the 27th COVID-19 death was an 84-year old man who tested positive and was admitted to the hospital on November 27th. He died on Wednesday.

An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the total number of cases is now at 1,160. Of those, 1,085 are people that have received positive test results and 75 are presumptive. 17 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are being hospitalized, 16 locally and 1 outside the area. 194 people are in isolation. 318 people are in quarantine. That means the staff with the Douglas Public Health Network are supporting 512 people that are either in isolation or quarantine.

The next drive through testing clinic with DPHN is Friday in Roseburg.
